DESCRIPTION:The club meets practically every Friday from 7-10pm\, at the Christ Church Centre on Magdalen Road\, NR3 4LA. It’s a warm and welcoming venue where like-minded people of all levels of skill gather to take turns to sing or play a wide range of music\, from traditional and contemporary folk to modern songs in a variety of styles\, as long as it’s acoustic – no microphones needed in this comfortably-sized Victorian setting. Monthly guest nights start at 7.30pm. There’s a car park which sometimes fills up so you might need to come early. Otherwise park on nearby streets.\nCurrently\, annual membership costs £10 with a suggested £3 contribution each visit (for visitors too).
