This month it’s Degol Stul – A Cornish Feast & Celebration of Twelfth Night!
Featuring – Skillywidden, Armenez and Arbrevyn
Doors: 5.30pm – Feast, 7.30pm – Nos Lowen
Feast includes the sharing of the traditional Twelfth Night Cake and the crowning of the King & Queen for the night!
Skillywidden – Legends of Cornish nos lowen dance music
Armenez & Neil Davey – Deep & dark D&B DJ meets Cornish bouzouki wizardry.
Arbrevyn – Beautiful vocal harmony trio
Klub Nos Lowen is a monthly night of Celtic wildness celebrating Cornish nos lowen dancing and music, featuring different live nos lowen dance bands each month. If you’re new to nos lowen dancing you can always dive in and have a go anyway, and pick it up as you go along, but there will also be ‘top-up and taster’ sessions when you can learn the dances. Similarly, if you play music yourself, some nights will include a chance to have a go at some of the tunes informally, or if you can already play nos lowen music, to get up and do a spot for some real live dancers!
