Mishra is a global folk collective formed in 2018 by Kate Griffin and Ford Collier. Based in Sheffield, the group blends UK folk music with Indian classical influences, performing as both a duo and a quintet. Members include John Ball (tabla, santoor), Joss Mann-Hazell (double bass), and Alex Lyon (clarinet, vocals). Their music explores creative boundaries, merging traditional sounds with contemporary styles. Mishra’s innovative approach has earned them recognition and a dedicated following.
