Traditional English Singers’ Weekend at Moreton in Marsh

March 3 @ 12:00 pm - March 5 @ 5:00 pm GMT

Morton in Marsh
Many of us have fond memories of the annual National Festival and the great news is that Will and Pippa Noble have initiated a new full-weekend of Traditional Song and have found a fantastic college venue in the Cotswolds with lecture rooms, theatre, bar, restaurant and full ensuite facilities.

Presenting a full weekend of talks, discussions, events and song sessions with a gathering of singers from different parts of the country, there are a number of seminar rooms with good ventilation and lighting, comfortable seats and great acoustics. By circulating performers there will be opportunity to hear all attending singers and a special session on Saturday will be a ‘meeting’ with the Copper Family from Sussex.

Additionally, there will be a rolling archive of films showing throughout the day in the theatre which has tiered seating. More on this to follow but details can be obtained directly from Pippa on tradsing23@gmail.com.
All rooms are ensuite and either twin, double or single occupancy. Tickets for the weekend include full accommodation on Friday and Saturday nights and include all meals. Dietary needs are catered for and meals are clearly labelled on menus.
The venue is fully accessible with lifts to all floors All meeting rooms are well ventilated with high ceilings.
The site is level with plenty of parking. Public transport to Moreton in Marsh with a frequent train link from London Paddington. There are no camping/caravanning facilities.
