Paul Sartin tribute events and donations

Updating you on news of tribute events and donation pages for the late folk musician, Paul Sartin.

Donations

Aware that people want to send tributes, Paul Sartin‘s family have announced a Much Loved page in his memory. His sons have asked that, instead of sending flowers, people donate to one of two funds.

They are very keen to launch a Whitchurch Folk Festival in the town he called home, dedicated to his memory. The money raised through the Much Loved page will go towards making that a reality. The local folk club organisers have called on anyone who feels they may be able to help get this off the ground to get in touch over the coming months.

The family have also suggested that donations should go to Halsway Manor, a place that Paul loved to spend time performing and teaching.

Live to Your Living Room

Paul passed away only weeks before an autumn tour with his trio, Faustus. While, understandably, many of the tour dates have been cancelled, Saul and Benji have decided that they wish to play together and pay tribute to their friend at a few key dates. These include the Beehive (Sheffield), Ripon and Nettlebed. Most of these have already sold out, however a Live to Your Living Room online event, live from the Cumberland Arms in Newcastle, is planned on October 12th with unlimited tickets.
